Took most of the Sunday off from sitting in front of my laptop – was supposed to be a day of socially engineered (by my wife) father-son bonding with me taking the brat to a SF Giants game. Against all hope, we set off from home in the driving rain and took the Caltrain upto the city.
Landed in the city and got soaked to the bone in the one block that we walked from the station to the stadium. Luckily, the little guy was all geared up against the elements. I was not – and by the time we reached the stadium, I wanted to take the train back home.
The game was delayed and after standing around for almost 2 hours, during the course of which many merchandising as well as food/drink items were purchased by the younger generation, we decided to call it a day and headed home. Not exactly home but that’s another story.
Once we were home, logged onto sfgiants.com and found that the game had started ! Good end to my first ever baseball game day
